Learn more about the countries of the kiwis!

New Zealand is a country located in the Southern-Western Pacific ocean.

The Maori name for New Zealand is Aotearoa. The official language spoken is Britain English and Te Reo Maori. The Maori people are the Polynesian people of New Zealand. The tallest mountain is Aoraki  mount cook, it is 3,754 meters and 12,316 feet.

The capital city of New Zealand is Wellington and the largest city is Auckland. New Zealands native animal is a Kiwi. New Zealand celebrates a day called Waitangi day. Waitangi is a day of celebration when the Maori treaty was signed.

In 1893 New Zealand became the first country in the world to give all woman the right to vote. Rugby is the most popular sport in NZ.
In New Zealand they drive on the left side of the road. New Zealand is home to the smallest dolphin species.

The amazing kiwi country has been through rough times but now they are improving every year.
