Then Patelesio poured the bucket all over the car and I got the hose and gave him a big surprise. Patelesio got mad and chased me around the house with a water bottle.

Then my sister came outside and wanted to join in on the fun so Patelesio squirted the water bottle at her when he was doing that, I gave both of them a big surprise with the hose. I snuck behind them and turned on the hose they said Revenge will be ours and they went around the backyard and filled the big bucket full of water and poured it all over me. I chased them both and trapped them in a corner. I said in a French accent "say hello to my little friend" I grabbed the hose from behind me and sprayed them both.

Why the moon only shines at night?

Do you know why the moon only comes out at night?

A moon is a satellite in space.

The moon is a circle in the sky and it is white. The moon is a light which brightens the night. The moon is a light. The moon can be half full or the shape of a crescent, if it is a half it is called a half moon, if it’s a completely round, then it is a full moon.
The moon is a light which lights up the sky at night. The moon is something that helps people to see in the dark. The moon helps to see the outside at night. The moon is a white circle up in the sky.

The moon is in the sky, not on the ground. The moon is huge. The moon is far and separated from the Earth but you can still see it.
The moon shines at night because it reflects the light from the sun. This is why we can see it when the sun goes down. If we have no moon we can’t able to see at night. The moon shines at night because it go around the earth behind the sun.

Why do we have Lent? By Lasike

Lent is a time when people give up something important to them or something that they really like, like no TV for 40 days and 40 nights. Lent is that time of the month when Jesus spend the days suffering by fasting in the desert. It is a time of a change of heart and it is a time when people turn back to God. Lent is the time when Jesus went through suffering and reflection to help him teach and heal others.

Lent is in March. It finishes on palm Sunday. Then three days later we will celebrate Holy Thursday,Good Friday and Holy Saturday. On the first day of Lent we receive the ashes Ashes in the  shape of a cross on our forehead. We celebrated Ash Wednesday at church by having a special Mass

Lent is important because Jesus showed us how to turn back to God. Jesus showed us how to change our lives and make our relationship with God even better.

Past of Panmure

We are learning about the history of Panmure.

Panmure cottage is one of the best historical sites here in Panmure. Panmure cottage was relocated from Panmure McDonald's to Queens Road, Panmure. It is made out of volcanic rocks. The Panmure cottage has a lot of antique things from the olden days, for example the old typewriter, the old clock that goes DING DONG and an old washing machine.

Panmure cottage does not have a bathroom. Do you know how they go to the bathroom? There isn't a bathroom in the cottage so they have to go outside the cottage and use the long drop. It's very deep hole and you can not flush it away.

Panmure Cottage has four bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms up in the attic. The downstairs bedroom is for the parents and the babies. It is small compared to the houses that we have now.

Its important that we maintain Panmure cottage because it contains a lot of the history of P
anmure.
