The Clown Attacker

One day a kiwi boy named Folau heard  a little whisper saying “hello” coming from his closet. He then immediately called his older brother to come to his room to check the closet for him. Daniel (Folau’s brother) opens the closet quick then starts punching everywhere, no one was in sight. After that Folau was feeling uncomfortable sleeping in his room again so he decided to go sleep over his cousin Lasike’s house the next day.

It was 7:40 in the morning Folau packed his clothes faster than the flash. He was all loaded up with 3 bags for just one sleep over. He arrived at his cousin’s home. He walked to the front door and is about to knock until he hears another whisper saying “i’m coming to get ya”. Folau knocks so hard on the door he made a dent in it. Lasike answered and he told him to go inside.

Once Folau was in the house he saw loads of mirrors around, as he looked into every mirror he saw a little glimpse of a clown. He then ran upstairs to Lasike’s room and told him everything that had just happened. Lasike shook with fear, then he froze and stared at his closet that was open. Folau turned around and looked, “A CLOWN!”  he shouted with every breathe he had. Folau ran and tackled the clown through a wall. At the other side of the wall was surprising.?????

Behind the wall was Lasike’s brother filming. Folau felt confused he then ask “What are you doing” The clown looked at Folau and said “It’s a prank bro!”

Folau was still confused until the clown wipe off the paint on his face. Folau realised Lasike and his brother worked together with his brother to pull a prank on him. Daniel was the one whispering in his ear, Daniel was the clown. Lasike posted the video of Folau being pranked on youtube and got over 23 million views and 200,000 likes because of his priceless reaction. To this day, Folau is known as the  clown attacker.

Satellites!

Satellites are important things in our lives because they provide us the ability to make a phone call to the other side of the world. They also give us internet to use sites to communicate or be entertained, when i say entertained I mean it gives us television programs that are entertaining. Satellites are orbited so as the earth. Why they are orbited its because they orbit around something large things and satellites orbit around the earth and the earth orbits around the sun. They are also meticulously engineered which means they were built very very carefully. Gravity is the key that helps the satellites roam around space. The first satellite was actually made out of aluminum and four antennas which is pretty bad compared to the ones we have now. Did you know the first satellite was actually named a weird name Sputnik 1. On satellites there is a platform called a bus, attached on the platform are antennas, cameras, telescopes and communication devices. Satellites power themselves which is pretty impressive, how are they powering themselves? it is done by using large solar wings covered with light solar cells. The wings also known as arrays can be turned on to collect as much light. Arrays become less efficient as time goes by.

He was also known as Santa Claus, the reason why i looked up to him was because he gave away stuff to people and that's what I want to do when I grow older,I want to give away stuff to people in need

 The graph shows that the Emily began lifting  40 Kilograms in January then at the end of the year she increased that weight to 49 kilos.

On week William typed very slow and ended up typing for 16 minutes. The next 5 weeks his typing speed increased.

Tinting colors!

The skill of being able to tint paint and apply it to create contrast in an artwork is a challenging task.

To tint a paint students had to use the colour white and add that to the colour of their choice. Adding in one dip of white paint to your other colour turns the colour darker on the paint pallet, but once applied to the paper or canvas the colour then appears darker. If you use another dip (two dips) The effect will be lighter. When the artist requires a lighter shade (contrast) he or she will continue to add the white.

When the artist wants to create a darker colour to use, this is simply done by adding the colour blue or black to your main colour, it is simple as that. Blue is a strong colour, it can turn any other colors with the exception of black darker.

Example of why we had to tint-

If one colour doesn't suit another colour but they both look cool, tinting the darker colour will make it right. (Example of why tinting is a good idea) Red and pink is the colour that are ideal but both colors don't suit sharing one object so add some white into the red to transform it to look little like a dark pink colour which would look great and better.

Congrats dad!

On the holiday I went to my dad’s body building competition with my family and

my cousins to support my dad while he is posing on the stage.

In the morning people arrived at my house so we could go together to the competition. Once everyone was at my house we all went to Avondale College where the competition was held. When we arrived at our destination, we had to wait outside the building for the bodybuilding contestants to get tanned and ready.

While we were waiting outside we were so bored, so my cousins and I just went for a jog around the school.  While running, we spotted an unexpected friend and that was my uncle Mateo. Mateo is also a bodybuilder who has never been beaten. The first thing that popped up in my head was why is he here, until I realised he is here to help give tips and support my dad too.

A while later my mum called us to go inside because the competition was about to begin.. The first class was a women.  They  came out in bikinis and posed and striked their muscles. When the first girl came my cousin laughed so loud, (to be honest I don't really know why he was laughing) but it was so awkward because everyone turned around and looked at him.

Later on my dad was on stage. When he  started his cool routine the whole room got up and started to shout GO ALO!!! ( my dad's name). After my dad's class the judges had to vote who was the most muscular. I was anxious because I wanted my dad to win, but then I heard this sentence ‘First place goes to Alo.’  I jumped up  and started to cheer.   That celebration was later continued at  restaurant the whole family went too, because it also happened to  be my dads .  birthday.

After that amazing dinner  everyone went home exhausted because of that long day. My dad was happy and left the competition proud as proud as I was that he is my dad.

AHHHHHH A SPIDER!!

A Spider is a eight legged creature

Some people may think that spiders are an insect but they are not! They have eight legs, and insects only have six. Spiders don't have antennas, well insects do. We can clearly say that Spiders are different from insects.

Brazilian Wandering Spiders are the most dangerous species out of the 40,000 others that are exist around the world. Their bites are venomous. One small bite can cause long, hard pain, It might even kill a human.

The largest known spider at the moment is the one, the only, Goliath Bird Eater. Its bigger than a man's hand. As you can tell by the name this spider can kill birds. This species might even be bigger than the person who hold the record for having the largest hand  -  Sultan Kosens.

Spiders are one of the coolest creatures on the planet.

St Patricks in Botanic Gardens

In our school our gardens were being eaten by foes, it was an appropriate time for us to have a trip to Botanic Gardens in Auckland New Zealand.

Our teacher at Botanic gardens said that garden sprays that gets rid of the foes are not ideal so we were taught instead how to make a spray that will kill the foes.

We were learning about what attracts friends to our gardens. The spray that was made that day was called Sucker Sauce, it's a weird name but the lady said it works so we just went with it. We were lucky enough to plant our own plant in their little garden where we were learning at. Our learning area was far away from where we had our lunch and morning tea, we had to go over a bridge to get there.

After learning about our friends and foes we got to finally make the Sucker Sauce. We only needed a little bit of ingredients it just included soap and water, to be honest it was pretty easy to make. After making the sucker sauce we planted our own plant by ourselves, well I needed help because I don't really know how to plant anything!

After our learning session we were supposed to leave Botanic Gardens exhausted but when we got to school everyone was hyped like they ate a bunch of chocolates and ran and jumped on the playground.

1. Place a battery in to the battery holder

2. Next find the red and black wires connected to the battery holder and tape the red wire to the end of a switch

3. Next cut a piece of the red wire

4. Use the black wire and connect it to the left side of the light bulb

5. Use the other peice of the red wire and connect one end to the right side of the light bulb then connect the other end to connect to the other end of the switch

Next pull the lever and watch your light turn on

1. First make little holes under your yogurt cup using the pin
2. Next rinse the yogurt cup with water
3. After that take a tea bag and place it flat inside your yogurt cup
4. Add dirt on top of the tea bag and hide the tea bag
5. After that get your plant and place it into the dirt
6. Water the soil and the plant then place it in the sun to drain

My friend Folau!

Today I met an old friend and his name is Folau, to me I knew him as a funny, caring and kind guy he was born on June 11th 2003. Right now he is 12 years old. He was a funny joker and he still is. Folau would tell us everyday what he did when he goes back home from school.

Folau is a year 8 student from St Patrick's school in Panmure, he also has a family of five. He is an athletic person who is fast and very strong. Folau is a very is a cool friend he is also my cousin.

Humpty Dumpty was killed by Foxy. WHAT?

Once upon a time there was an egg named Humpty Dummy that lived in scrambled city where all the eggs live in.

One day a bad Fox named Foxy entered Scrambled City. He only went to egg town to rob the houses but while he was robbing his second house he saw Humpty sitting on top of a big brick wall. Foxy could not control himself so he had to push Humpty off the wall, so he did!

After Humpty fell and splattered into pieces Foxy cooked him and turned it to scrambled eggs and shared it with himself because he was also known as the greedy sneaky Fox. After that day the egg FBI were trying to find the the person who killed Humpty dumpty, they traced the egg stains then scanned some hand prints and footprints. The handprints were fox prints so they had to enter Foxburg to ask every fox in the city questions.

While the egg FBI were asking innocent fox’s questions Foxy was telling his best friend Phoebe what he had done, then foxy said “don't tell anyone”. but when the egg FBI came to Phoebe’s house Phoebe was getting nervous and started sweating and scratching and then…. “OK FOXY THAT LIVES DOWN THE STREET DID IT AND TOLD ME NOT TO TELL BUT I'M SCARED, PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME TO JAIL”. Then the FBI said “calm your tail we won't take you to jail you did nothing so i'm just going to take your friend Foxy to jail, now where does he live again”?

When the FBI went to Foxy’s house they smashed the door open and tackled foxy the put him in handcuffs. While they were taking foxy in to the police car egg reporters were trying to interview him, So he turned to a camera and said “I'll return.”

Who wants to go to the movie next week?

On January 15 my dad dropped off my friends, sisters and I to the cinema at Sylvia Park to watch a movie.

When we got to the cinema we had to look for a movie that we would all enjoy. After a long argument about what movie to watch we finally agreed on Oddball. While we were buying the tickets we also bought yummy food like a LARGE Sprite and a LARGE bowl of popcorn. Next we went into the movie theater.

The movie Oddball was about a strange dog that is supposed to look after the hens at the farm but he only protects penguins. Oddball is the name of the dog. In the movie a fox tries to eat the penguin but then oddball scared it away. Oddball would be taken to an island where their are loads of penguins, and all he did in the island was protect the penguins for the whole night.

After the movie my friends and I went to the arcade to play some arcade games. My friend sake and nano played a shooting game which was two players. While they were shooting polices I was racing on a racing car. When I was in first place on the game strangers came by to watch me win. When I was in the middle of the race my friends pushed me off the seat then they started playing.

After that long day everybody had funny even my Nano my friend had fun he never smile that much. Next time my friends take me off the arcade game I will try stand up for myself.
